Recipe Testing

Over the past several years, I've immersed myself in the world of baking, working through more than 30 cookbooks. What began as a learning experience has blossomed into a deep-seated passion—and perhaps even an obsession!

My baking journey spans various disciplines, including technical bakes that employ diverse methodologies developed by renowned chefs. This extensive exploration has not only honed my skills but also cultivated an intuitive understanding of what each recipe should yield.

While I lack formal culinary training, I consider myself a "professional home baker." My goal is to bridge the gap between professional recipes and home kitchens, ensuring that aspiring bakers can achieve success with every bake.

How I Can Assist You

If you're crafting recipes intended for home bakers and wish to ensure they are foolproof, I can help. Whether your recipes are nearly perfect or require adjustments, I approach them from the perspective of a home baker. I test each recipe thoroughly, providing detailed feedback to enhance clarity, accuracy, and overall success.

Food Photography

From Home Baker to Food Photographer: My Journey

For a long time, I hesitated to call myself a photographer. I'm not a professional, nor do I use high-end equipment. Yet, many assume I am, based on the quality of my images.

My journey began like many others: as a hobbyist. Over time, my passion for baking merged with an interest in photography. I now approach each bake with the intention of capturing its essence through the lens. Before I even begin baking, I envision how I'll photograph the final product.

This dual passion has led me to curate a diverse collection of photography props, many sourced during my travels. I've invested in various backgrounds and even craft my own. This allows me to create scenes that convey the story of each bake, enhancing the viewer's experience. While they can't taste the treats, my images aim to transport them closer to that sensory delight.

If you're working within a limited budget or prefer not to invest heavily in professional photography, my services offer a cost-effective alternative. I photograph real bakes in their authentic state, without staging or heavy editing, ensuring the final image reflects the true essence of the creation.

So, while I may not be a professional photographer by traditional standards, my dedication and passion for capturing the beauty of food make me a food photographer in my own right.

Content Creation

Like it or not, social media is here to stay—and if you want to stay relevant, you’ve got to play the game.

Food is one of the most social things we share. It brings people together, and baking especially sparks excitement. People want to be proud of what they make—and share it.

While polished photos and videos have their place, social media thrives on real, relatable content. When it comes to baking, people want to see the process—successes and failures—because it helps them grow. For years, we watched perfectly staged food shows, but real baking isn’t always picture-perfect, especially when you’re learning.

I offer these services individually, but they work best as a complete package—testing your recipes, creating content during the process, and capturing beautiful photos of the final bakes.
